Watch: Trailer of Megastar Chiranjeevi's Godfather is high on action

By Bhavana Published on 29 Sep 2022 10:05 AM GMTHyderabad: The much-awaited trailer of Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Godfather' is finally out. 'Godfather' is the much-awaited remake of the Malayalam blockbuster film 'Lucifer'.
A grand pre-release event was held in Anantapur on Wednesday and the trailer was unveiled by Chiranjeevi at the event. The Megastar took to Twitter to share the trailer and said he is all set to meet the audiences in the theatres this Dasara.

The trailer looks stunning. After the debacle of 'Acharya', Chiranjeevi's fans have been waiting for the actor to bounce back with an action film and 'Godfather' trailer promises to make all their wishes come true. Directed by Mohan Raja, 'Godfather' also stars Nayanathara, Satyadev, Samuthirakhani, Sunil, Shafi, Murali Sharma, and others. Salman Khan will be seen in an extended cameo too.
Megastar will be seen sporting a salt and pepper look in the film which is high on action. The trailer opens with the death of Chief Minister PKR. His death leads to questions about his successor. The next scene introduces Chiranjeevi's character Brahma who has a huge fan following but also has several enemies in the political world. Towards the end of the video, the trailer introduces Salman Khan who plays the role of his younger brother in an extended cameo. Making an entry on a motorbike, Salman introduces Chiranjeevi as "GodFather."
He says, "Hello brother, this is neither your concern nor is it mine. This is a family matter." When a person asks, "Whose?" he says, "Your big brother's big brother, GodFather." The trailer also offers a glimpse of Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana's characters, who are in the middle of the fight for power.
The much-awaited film is all set to hit the screens on 5 October and is releasing in five languagesāTelugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
