Facing personal problems, Cognizant techie ends life in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A techie working with 'Cognizant’ company allegedly ended his life at a private hostel in Gachibowli on Tuesday.

Identified Suddala Madhu, died by suicide at MPR Iyla Mens’ hostel in Gachibowli on Tuesday. Police suspect that he took the extreme step because of personal issues.

Hailing from Jagtial district, Madhu has been working for Cognizant for the past three years. Police said he used to stay alone Since lockdown, he has been working from home.

Late on Tuesday, he went to the top of the hostel building and hung himself from a hook. Based on a complaint, Gachibowli police registered a case and started the investigation.
