Hyderabad: Amitabh Bachchan, his son Abhishek, daughter in law Aishwarya and granddaughter Aradhya were tested positive for COVID-19. All of them have been admitted to the hospital.

Many other news channels also reported it

Fact Check:

Amitabh Bachchan rubbished it as fake news. "This news is incorrect, irresponsible, fake and an incorrigible LIE!!" senior Bachchan tweeted.

'Times Now' also reconfirmed that he has refuted being tested negative

Amitabh was admitted to hospital on July 11 after he and his son Abhishek were tested positive for COVID-19. Later Aishwarya and his daughter Aradhya were also tested positive and shifted to the hospital.

Four of them are currently quarantined in the hospital. Meanwhile, Bruhanmumbai Municipal Corporation sanitized four bungalows of the Bachchan family and declared them as containment zones.

Senior Bachchan has been regularly keeping his fans updated on social media. "T 3598 - We see your love .. we hear your prayers .. We fold our hands .. In gratitude and thanks !" he tweeted

Hence, the claim that he has been tested Negative is false. Big B is still in the hospital and is being treated for the novel coronavirus.
