Several users on social media shared an image of a massive crowd along with a claim that it is from UP CM Yogi Adityanath's recent rally in Bihar. The caption of the viral image reads, "The crowd gathered at a rally in Bihar to listen to Yogi Adityanath."

Fact check:

This claim is FALSE. This image in circulation since 2014. It is not recent as claimed on social media.

Newsmeter did a reverse image search and came across the same picture tweeted by a user @ibtlx on Feb 5, 2014. The caption reads: "Look here:- Glimpse of #NaMo's #JanChetnaSabha of Kolkata from Helicopter View."

For a more authentic source, we did a keyword search and came across an article by Desh Gujarat published on Feb 5, 2014. This article titled: "The Kolkata crowd at Modi's rally (In pictures)". It featured the same viral image along with other pictures from the rally.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath indeed held a rally in Bihar on Oct 20, 2020. It was a part of the election campaigning for the upcoming assembly polls in Bihar. As elections are approaching, a lot of misinformation is being generated on social media.

Finally, a 2014 image of a crowd at Modi's Kolkatta rally has been passed off as Yogi Adityanath's recent Bihar public meeting.
