A video, claiming that Canada is deporting Indian students for submitting fake International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score has been going viral on Facebook. IELTS is an English language proficiency test considered as a requirement to apply to foreign universities.
It has also been shared on Twitter by some Pakistani users and been uploaded to Youtube.
Fact Check
The video shows hundreds of Indian students in an airport lounge, waiting in a line for some procedure to take place.
However, the Canada Border Services Agency rubbished this claim. CBSA confirmed that the content and caption of the video circulating on social media are false. The video shows an overflow-waiting area at Toronto Pearson Airport, where international students are awaiting study permit processing. The individuals are not waiting to be deported.

Hence, the claim that Indian students are being evicted from Canada for submitting fake IELTS score is FALSE. Though the video shows many students waiting in the airport lounge, they are waiting for permit processing and NOT for deportation procedure.
