Hyderabad: A message stating that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been flown to New York for cancer treatment has gone viral on social media.

"Amit Shah suffers AVIAN SARCOMA flown to New York in Air Ambulance. Condition critical," reads a message.

When searched, Newsmeter found that Home Minister Amit Shah has been actively participating in various programmes and performing his duties

Posting his activities on Twitter and also Facebook accounts, He stated that he attended an event of distributing electric pottery wheels to 200 potter families belonging to Gandhi Nagar Lok Sabha Constituency. Photographs of the event were also posted.

This was also shared on the twitter account of Home Ministry.

According to ANI, he also attended a crucial meeting about upcoming#BiharElections2020 at BJP president JP Nadda's residence. Besides Amit Shah, party's Bihar election in-charge Devendra Fadnavis and Bhupendra Yadav were also present
