Hyderabad: Social media users are sharing a screenshot of a purported Twitter conversation between Journalist Nidhi Razdan and the Customer support handle of Reliance Jio (Jio care).
The screenshot shows Razdan complaining about Mobile data and the poor helpline service of Jio, while the replay from Jio Care calls out the journalist for not paying the bill.
Razdan's tweet reads, "Hi @JioCare. Your mobile data in Delhi is down for the last one week and you guys don't answer your "helpline". Pathetic service." And Jio care replay reads, "Hi Nidhi, we checked the details and found you haven't paid your bill. Just because it's Delhi, not everything is Free," reads the alleged tweet by JioCare in response to Nidhi Razdan's tweet."
A Twitter user, taking a dig at the Razadan, shared the screenshot. (Archive)

Fact Check
NewMeter checked the official Twitter account of Razdan and found that the journalist, on 29 November, tweeted tagging Jio Care that their Internet service has been down in Delhi for a week and also complained about the poor customer service by the telecom company.
Replaying Razdan's complaints, Jio Care tweeted, "Hi Nidhi, not to worry! Just DM us your contact number for a quick call - Dennis." However, we did not find any tweet by Jio Care calling out Razdan over unpaid bills.
Further, we examined the viral screenshot and found two major discrepancies in the purported Jio Care tweet.
1. Jio Care mostly tweets via Locobuzz CX, but the viral image says "Twitter for iPhone."
2. Jio's replies always end with the name of an executive handling the complaint, but the viral screenshot has no name of the executive.
Moreover, Razdan, in a tweet on 30 November, clarified that the viral screenshot is fake. She tweeted, "Fake tweet alert. Some people have nothing better to do. @JioCare did not say this, they reached out to help resolve the issue. Lage Raho."
It is evident from these findings that the viral tweet is fabricated. Hence, we conclude that the claim of Jio calling out Journalist Nidhi Razadn over unpaid bills is false.
