Hyderabad: Indian railways have ferried over three lakh stranded migrant workers, students, and tourists to different destinations in 2050 Shramik Special trains so far.An image is being circulated on social media that shows a group of children wearing skullcaps serving drinking water to the train passengers.

This image is being shared with the claim that “Children from local madarsa providing cold water to migrants boarding trains… मिला हमेशा चाहत का पैग़ाम मदरसों से @ShayarImran @sudhirchaudhary @ZeeNews. ये तालीम और तरबीयत हमें इस्लाम सिखाता है.

Fact check:
The claim that this picture is recent and the children are serving water to the migrant workers is FALSE.
When we did Google reverse image search, we found that this picture has been shared occasionally on social media platforms over the years.
We found the same viral image been shared along with other images with a caption ‘who is the real Indian’.

We also found this image in meme platform `me.me’ with a caption ‘Real meaning of education’.

We also found a blog post published in Tamil on May 21, 2016. The article said: This is what Islam teaches us. It is such actions that inspire the idea of helping others at an early age.”

Therefore, the claim that this image is recent is FALSE. This image is doing rounds on social media since 2016.
