FACT CHECK:

The claim that the incident took place in Delhi is false.

Newsmeter performed a reverse image search and found a report by THE STRAITS TIMES from February 2019 that attached pictures from the CCTV footage. The report states that the incident took place on February 14, 2019 inside a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station's lift in the Kuala Lumpur district of Cheras, Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur City Criminal Investigations Department Chief Rusdi Mohd Isa told Straits Times that the woman in the video suffered multiple injuries and was being given treatment.

Another report by ASIA TIMES states that this incident took place inside an elevator at an MRT station in Cheras district, Kuala Lumpur. "At 6:45 am at the Taman Mutiara MRT station, the woman entered the elevator alone, and then was followed by a man, according to a statement issued by the head of the Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department on Friday, the New Straits Times reported. The incident lasted about 56 seconds and was captured by a surveillance camera. The man swung his arm at the woman when the doors closed, causing her to fall to the floor", reads the report.

The Delhi Metro later clarified that this video footage is not from the premises of any of their stations. "The CCTV footage of a girl being attacked inside a lift is not from the Delhi Metro. No such incident has ever been reported here. Delhi Metro premises are always secured by adequate security arrangements by trained personnel", reads the tweet.

Evidently, it is clear that the footage is not from Delhi but from Kuala Lumpur.
