Fact Check

NewsMeter found that the claim is false. The video has been on the internet since at least 2020, hence it can’t be related to the ongoing Afghan-Pak conflict in 2025.

A reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video led to a YouTube upload from 2020, titled ‘Alak Nare chinaar dae. Pakistan Army dance with officers.’ The video shows uniformed soldiers dancing in a rugged outdoor area near a white vehicle, matching the same terrain and Pakistan flag seen in the viral clip.

Further, no credible reports or official statements indicate that Pakistan Army soldiers held any such public celebrations amid the current clashes along the Afghan border.

While NewsMeter could not independently verify the details about the source of the footage, its presence online dates to at least March 2020.

The viral video showing Pakistan Army soldiers dancing has no connection to the current Afghanistan–Pakistan conflict. It is an old clip shared with a false narrative. Therefore, the claim is false.
