Animated video of car dramatically leaping over vehicles goes viral as real

Hyderabad: A video of a car bouncing over the roofs of multiple vehicles, dodging cops is doing the rounds on social media.

In the five-second clip, a car dramatically loses control in a busy road and bounces over the roofs of two other vehicles and lands on the other side of the road.

The video is being widely shared by social media users claiming it is a real incident.

One would be lucky if one is able to dodge a big accident in such a sleek way. But, is this viral video legit? Let’s check it out.

NewsMeter found that the video is animated and not real.

On performing a reverse image search, we found the video on Instagram. It was posted by a verified Instagram account with the username “2ncs.” The video was posted with the hashtags #3D and #animation.

We searched for the username and found that 2ncs is a UK-based graphic designer.

We also checked the designer’s YouTube channel for further leads and found multiple similar videos on the channel.

Further, we performed a keyword search and found the official website of the creator, who is identified as Dionisis Sakas who is an Automotive Graphics Designer from Preston, United Kingdom.

Now you know why the video looked unreal. Because it’s not actually real; it is mainly an excellent CGI creation by a graphic designer.
