News outlets such as Mirchi9 and ap7am also reported that an RTC driver was sacked by Y.S. Jagan-led government in Andhra Pradesh for shaking hands with Nara Lokesh.

NewsMeter found a tweet by the official Twitter handle of the Andhra Pradesh State Transport Corporation (APSTC). It denied the allegation and said, “This is absolutely false News. We strongly deny these claims made in the media. APSRTC will initiate suitable legal action on the responsible social media administrators for such fake propaganda.”
The official fact-check handle of the Andhra Pradesh government retweeted APSRTC’s tweet denying the allegation.
Speaking to NewsMeter, an APSRTC official confirmed that no driver was sacked for shaking hands with Nara Lokesh. He also said that APSRTC had issued a clarification on Twitter.
Hence, we conclude that the claim that an RTC driver was sacked by the Andhra Pradesh government for shaking hands with TDP leader Nara Lokesh is false.
