Hyderabad: An Instagram post claiming Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have got engaged is viral on social media.
"According to reports, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have exchanged rings in a secret Roka ceremony! Waiting for official confirmation," reads the claim.

On research, we came across another Facebook post with a similar claim. The post stated, "RIP Salman Khan. Katrina Kaif engagement with Vickey Kaushal (sic)".
Fact Check:
The claim is false. There were several rumors that the Bollywood stars, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are engaged. However, no such official announcement about the engagement has been made by either of the two.
On research, News Meter came across an article by India Today. "The actress's team has clarified that there is no truth to the rumors. During the recent screening of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's Shershah, both were spotted together. However, they didn't come out together after the screening of the film was done," the article said.
Secondly, we came across an article by india.com. The article claimed that a few months ago, Harshvardhan Kapoor confirmed that Vicky and Katrina are dating. He said: "Vicky and Katrina are together, that's true. Am I going to get in trouble for saying this? I don't know. I think they're quite open about it."
However, Katrina's team clarified that there is no truth to the rumors. When a source close to the entertainment portal FilmiBeat contacted Vicky's father Sham Kaushal, he said: "it's not true".
We came across an article by Wion News. "Soon after the reports flooded the internet, people joined in to share their surprise at the unconfirmed news. Though Katrina and Vicky didn't comment on the same, Katrina Kaif's spokesperson told Zoom TV that the news doesn't hold true," the report said.
Katrina Kaif's spokesperson said there has been no Roka ceremony. "She is leaving for Tiger 3 shoot soon," the spokesperson said.
