A purported letter of Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar addressed to national president JP Nadda is doing rounds on the internet.

Kumar in his purported letter said that despite continuous and effortless door-to-door campaigning, BJP is receiving a lot of backlash from the people of the Munugode constituency. The letter also claims that Kumar has requested the BJP central leadership to refrain from campaigning in Munugode. The election is scheduled on November 3.


Fact Check

Speaking to NewsMeter, BJP's Public Relations Officer (PRO) Sripathi Parameshwar said the letter is fake and they have already clarified it on Twitter. He also said they don't write these letters internally.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar took to Twitter to clarify that the letter is fake and accused TRS of posting the letter. He wrote, "TRS tryst with lies would end on 3 Nov as BJP is set for a record win at Munugode which will lead to a real resignation of KCR from public life."

Hence, it is evident that the letter doing the rounds on the Internet is fake.
