Fact Check:

The claim is false.

NewsMeter ran a keyword search to check the veracity of the post but did not find any information about such a scheme launched by the government. The mainstream media had not reported about such a scheme being introduced by the government either.

We also checked the official government website but didn't find any such scheme.

Further, we noticed that the domain name was not ".gov," ".org," or ".in." Also, the notice on the site said the page had been deleted or suspended.


The Press Information Bureau on 15 July 2022 debunked the claim as false.

Hence, the claim is false.
