FACT CHECK:
NewsMeter performed a reverse image search and found that the viral image is edited. In the original picture, both the men were holding a poster that carried the image of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and her party- Trinamool Congress.
Many social media users shared the original picture in March 2021 ahead of the West Bengal elections held last year. Verified Facebook page "Didi Ke Bolo" shared the image on 2 March 2021. The campaign was held in support of Mamata Banerjee.

Trinamool Congress leader and MP Nusrat Jahan also tweeted the original picture on 2 March 2021.
Shameless polarisation coming from the party that understands nothing of unity or peace!

FYI, Mr @amitmalviya people across all religions, caste groups, genders are rallying behind @MamataOfficial owing to her good work. Would recommend having some grip on your politics of hate! https://t.co/kPHt6azW3m pic.twitter.com/fioJXWjZnK
Below is a comparison of the edited and the original image.
Clearly, the image of two men holding a poster in support of Congress in Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming elections is fake.
