Fact Check
NewsMeter listened to the whole video but did find any such announcement made by the Congress President. We then looked for news reports but did not find Khrage's announcement about Sachin Pilot.
Next, we ran a keyword search on the official YouTube Channel of the Congress Party and found the same video published by the channel on 9 November. The video is of a public meeting addressed by Kharge in a run-up to the assembly election in Himachal Pradesh which was conducted on 12 November.
After listening to the video, we found that Kharge spoke critically about the policies of the Modi-led central government. He raised the issue of unemployment, unfilled vacancies, and the Agniveer scheme.
During the speech, Kharge promised that the Congress party will fulfill its manifesto promises in Himachal Pradesh. He said that the Congress government will provide one lakh jobs, restore the old pension scheme, provide 300 units of free electricity, Rs. 680-crore startup fund, and Rs. 1,500 per month for women aged between 18 and 60 years. But we did not find any mention of Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot, or infighting within the Congress party in Rajasthan.
Finally, we found the news reports of Kharge addressing a rally in Himachal Pradesh on 9 November. But we did not find any announcement about replacing Ashok Gehlot with Sachin Pilot as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. (Click here and here to read the reports.)
It is evident that Congress President MallikarujanKharge has not announced that Sachin Pilot will be the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Hence, the claim is false.
