Fact:Misleading. The video is from August 2025 and unrelated to his recent hospitalisation.
Hyderabad: Bollywood veteran Dharmendra was discharged on November 12 from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where he was admitted on October 31. Family sources confirmed on Tuesday evening that the actor is stable and responding well to treatment.
Since Monday night, several reports began circulating about the actor’s health on social media. However, his daughter Esha Deol and wife Hema Maliniclarified that Dharmendra is doing fine and remains under observation.
Amid this, a video featuring the veteran actor has gone viral with the claim that he shared it after being discharged from the hospital.
An X user posted the clip with the caption, “Look @aajtak people and @anjanaomkashyap and @yadavakhilesh, you all spread false news of Dharmendra Pa Ji’s death. The video shows Dharmendra sitting in a chair wearing a black hat, brown kurta and checkered pyjamas, speaking to fans about life and positivity.

A reverse image search of a keyframe from the video led to a News18 article published on August 11, titled ‘Dharmendra Has A Special Message For Fans: “Doston Zindagi Bahut Khoobsurat Hai”.’
The report featured the same video, where Dharmendra delivers a heartfelt message about the beauty of life.
Further verification showed that the original video was posted on Dharmendra’s official Instagram account (@aapkadharam) on August 11, with a caption expressing gratitude and positivity.
The video of veteran actor Dharmendra being shared with the claim that it was recorded after his hospital discharge is misleading. The clip is from August 2025, much before him being admitted to the hospital in October. Hence, it has no connection to his recent hospitalisation.
