A letter purportedly written on the letterhead of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the ideological parent organisation of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), is going viral on social media.
Those sharing the letter claim it was issued by the RSS, encouraging Hindu men to lure Muslim women for religious conversion.
The 12-point letter elucidates in detail how Hindu men should entrap Muslim women to accept Hinduism (Ghar Wapsi). It also mentions the 15-day training course by the Sangh on converting Muslim women. The letter has been marked to other Hindu organisations like Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Samaj, Bajrang Dal, Hindu Sena, and Hindu Yuva Vahini.

Fact Check
NewsMeter found that the letter is fake and was not issued by the RSS.
We checked the older letters tweeted by the official handle of the RSS, and after comparing them with the viral one, we noticed several discrepancies.
Ā· The logo of āOmā on the letterhead in the viral letter is different from the letters issued by RSS in 2015 and 2017.
Ā· There is also a difference in alignment in the text on the top.
Ā· The older letters are undersigned with a date. But the viral one is undated and has no signatures of any RSS functionary.
RSS functionary Sunil Ambekar took to Twitter to clarify that the letter circulating on social media in the name of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is false.
Hence, we conclude that the viral letter is fake and was not issued by the RSS.
