A purported tweet by Ansar Ahmad Ali has caused quite a stir on Twitter. It has received around 6000 likes and 2000 retweets.

Hyderabad: A purported tweet by Ansar Ahmad Ali has caused quite a stir on Twitter.
It has received around 6000 likes and 2000 retweets.
"The main voters of BJP are Hindu boys. All Muslim girls are requested to trap Hindu boys in their love trap for the next six months, then convince them to vote for Congress, which will defeat BJP," reads the purported tweet.
Sharing it along with a picture of Dube and Khan's wedding, Twitter users wrote, Maulvi said it, Anjum Khan did it!

The claim is False.
The claim has been going viral after cricketer Shivam Dube married his Muslim girlfriend Anjum Khan and shared the news on social media. The viral screenshot includes a picture of the couple performing a ritual.
NewsMeter searched Twitter account @Ansar2ali2 as the tweets are being claimed to have been posted from this account. When we checked the account, we came to know that no such Twitter handle exists. This means that someone has cleverly created the picture of the tweet. If there was such a Twitter handle, then some information about it would have been available on Twitter.
We took a screenshot of the person's picture in the viral screenshot and performed a Google Reverse Image Search, which led us to the website of

We then found a report by Patrika.com which was published on December 08, 2016. The report had a similar image which could be seen on the viral screenshot.
We also found the YouTube channel of Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi. The cover picture of his channel was the same as the viral image. The description of his YouTube channel read: "General Secretary ALL INDIA TANZEEM ULLMA-E-ISLAM, Delhi, Director: - ISLAMIC RESEARCH CENTER, Dargah Aala Hazrat Bareilly Sharif (U.P), India, Famous Writer, Scholar & Social Worker"

We found a report by Vishwas News that debunked the viral claim and spoke to Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi over the phone to know the truth. Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi said that this tweet is completely fake.
"This tweet has nothing to do with me. There is a conspiracy by some people to defame me. I have given an application to the police captain of Bareilly to take action in this matter," he said
It is therefore evident that the viral screenshot of a tweet is False. Photo of Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi has been put in this tweet. This tweet has nothing to do with Maulana Razvi.
