Fact Check

NewsMeter ran a keyword search on Twitter and found the same clip but with slogans in favour of PM Modi. A user had shared the clip and tweeted, "People chanting "Modi"..."Modi"...in PM Modi's roadshow in Surat…"

Further, we found the same clip published by Aaj Tak. According to the caption, it is from PM Modi's Hunkar rally in Surat. In this clip also we found slogans in favour of PM Modi.

Finally, we checked the live broadcast of the roadshow streamed on 27 November on the official YouTube channel of PM Modi. At no point in this video of around 1.15 hours is any pro-Kejriwal slogans heard. But we did find slogans in favour of Mr. Modi.

India Today had also broadcasted the roadshow live. We did not find any pro-Kejriwal slogans in this video, too.

It is evident that the viral clip with pro-Kejriwal slogans has been doctored by digitally inserting the slogans. Hence, we conclude that the claim that pro-Kejriwal slogans were raised at PM Mod's rally is false.
