Hyderabad: The Telangana government has decided to pass all class X students without any exams for the second year in a row, keeping in view the surge in COVID-19 cases. Amidst this, a photo of an old man has gone viral with the claim that the 51-year-old Mohammad Noorudin from Hyderabad cleared his class X examination after 33 years. The message also states that he has been appearing for the exams since 1987 but he passed this year following the government exemption.

According to a report by The Times of India, "While the coronavirus pandemic has caused immense suffering and pain across the world, it has come as a blessing for a Hyderabad resident who finally passed his class 10 examination after failing in repeated attempts during the last 33 years."
Mohammad Nooruddin failed the SSC examinations because he was weak in English and there was nobody to tutor him. However, in 2020 the Telangana government decided to promote all the class X students without any examinations in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
