FACT CHECK:

NewsMeter found that this claim is false as this runway is not from Dubai but from Shannon, Ireland.

We performed a reverse image search and found a Facebook post by AERONEWS with the same image. However, it states that the runway is from Shannon airport in Ireland.

A link on that Facebook post led us to the official website of Shannon airport. In the latest news section, the image of the decorated runway can be seen. The website reads: "The airport has come up with a festive advertising campaign involving a redesign of the airport's runway, the longest runway in Ireland. The runway has been reimagined as a magical Christmas tree bedecked with colorful Christmas lights and topped with a Christmas star" reads the news on the website along with the image".

We also found that the same picture was tweeted by the official handle of Shannon Airport on December 15.

Reports by IRISH CENTRAL and CLARE ECHO also state that this runway is decorated for advertising campaign purposes at the Shannon Airport.

Evidently, it is clear that the runway is from the Shannon, Ireland airport and not from Dubai.
