Fact Check:

The claim that the Andhra Pradesh skill development unit has started butchery training classes is FALSE.

NewsMeter found that the viral text is taken from an article from the online Telugu news website V6 Telugu. The article mentions training for aspiring butchers but it is NOT related to the Andhra Pradesh skill development unit. According to the article, a butchers' academy will start in Hyderabad. It is an initiative of Proteins Hygienic Non-veg Mart founder Vijay Choudary Tripuraneni.

A paragraph from the article has been taken and shared with the false claim that the butchery training is being conducted by the AP skill development unit. Vijay Choudary Tripuaraneni's name has been removed to arrive at the wrong conclusions.

Here is the comparison of the viral and original images:

We also found several news articles confirming that a butchery school is being started in Hyderabad and is a private initiative.

Hence, the claim that the Andhra Pradesh skill development unit has started butchery training classes is FALSE. Part of an article about the launch of a butchers academy in Hyderabad is circulating with a FALSE narrative.
