Fact Check:
This website is FAKE and is not the official website of PIB fact-check.
Upon clicking the link, we noticed that the page is identified as "not secure" by Google. Next, we observed that the page did not contain the logo of PIB. The last fact-check on the website is from 4 July 2020. However, it should be noted that the official portal of PIB fact-check constantly updates its page and its last post was at 1.30 p.m on 23 May (at the time of writing the article).
PIB's official Twitter account clarified that the website is a "fraudulent website". It tweeted, " A website "http://pibfactcheck.in" is falsely claiming to be the official website of #PIBFactCheck. Don't fall for these fraudulent websites!"
The only official PIB fact-check website is https://pib.gov.in/factcheck.aspx. It constantly updates the page with current fact-check reports. The page also contains information on press releases and media facilitation and also has an archive page.
