Fact Check

The viral message is a hoax.

NewsMeter firstly tried to find out whether the government had introduced any such scheme. However, we neither found the scheme on the official website of the Government of India nor had any mainstream media reported it.

The team noticed that the website was made using 'Blogger'. The team compared the link in the viral message and the blog link of the team.

The team found a tweet by the Press Information Bureau Fact Check debunking the viral claim. "It is being claimed on a fake website that ā‚¹4000 is being given to everyone by the central government for registering under the Pradhan Mantri Ramban Suraksha Yojana. Beware of such fraud being done in the name of the central government. ļøNever share your personal information on such a website," PIB tweeted.

It is therefore evident that the viral message is a hoax as the central government has not introduced any such scheme up.
