NewsMeter found that the claim is false.
We searched for various news reports by credible news organizations but found none.
Next, we found a June 29 report by Patrika that states that the claim of the station's name changing is just a rumor. The report states that when the matter reached Delhi, the Railway Ministry had to issue a rebuttal. Furthermore, Bhopal Division clarified that the name of the station has not changed.
Vishwas News, an independent fact check website, contacted West Central Railway's CPRO Rahul Jaipurian. Refuting the claim, he said this is fake news.

This is not the first time that the issue of the Habib Ganj station's name being changed has popped up. According to Dainik Jagran, a proposal to name Habib Ganj station after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was brought up, but no such official announcement has been made so far.
Evidently, it is clear that the claim of Habib Ganj railway station's name being changed is false.
