Hyderabad: Social media users are claiming that the central government will be giving an amount of Rs 1800 under 'Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana'.
Users said people between 18 to 40 years of age are eligible for this scheme.
A link has also been provided along with the message. People have been asked to click on the link to register.

The claim is False.
NewsMeter firstly had a look at the viral text. The text didn't seem to be authentic.
We then performed a keyword search. The search led us to the official website of the Ministry of Labor and Employment. On searching, we did find the 'Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana'.
"Government of India has introduced a pension scheme for unorganized workers namely Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-dhan (PM-SYM) to ensure old age protection for Unorganized Workers," the description said.
Apart from this, we also found that the age group of people eligible for the scheme is 18 to 40 years.
However, the scheme provides a minimum assured pension of Rs 3000 per month after attaining the age of 60 years.
The link was also shortened using the software.
We then clicked on the viral link that was being provided at the end of the viral text. On clicking the link, we were directed to a page that stated that the link doesn't exist.
To apply for the scheme, one can simply visit the official website and apply from there.
Apart from this, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check had also rubbished the viral message as False.
Hence, it is evident that the claim is False. 'Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana' provides a minimum assured pension of Rs 3000 per month after attaining the age of 60 years.
