Hyderabad: Social media users are claiming that Bajrang Dal activist Harsha supported hijab in an interview with 'TV9' four days before his death
A reverse image search of the screenshots of the video shared in the post reveals that the video with similar scenes was published by the 'TV9 Kannada' news channel on 08 February 2022.
The video shows the Campus Front of India (CFI) leaders addressing a press meet. The CFI leaders alleged that Bajrang Dal and ABVP were carrying out attacks on Karnataka students.
CFI also shared a video of the press meet on their Facebook page. The person addressing the press meet is CFI Karnataka State Secretary Syed Sarfaraz.
Comparing the photo of the deceased Harsha Nagara with the person seen in the video, it is clear that what is seen in this video is not Bajrang Dal activist. He is CFI Karnataka State Secretary Syed Sarfaraz.
Hence, the claim is false.
