Fact Check:

NewsMeter performed a reverse image search and found a YouTube video uploaded on 31 May 2009. According to the description of the video, the men in the video are Bellur Krishnamachar Sundararaja Iyengar and Tirumalai Krishnamacharya and that the video is from 1938.

We also found another video that had scenes from the viral clip and according to the caption, the person doing yoga here is BKS Iyengar, the founder of the style of yoga known as 'Iyengar Yoga'. He was considered one of the foremost yoga teachers in the world.

We compared shots of the viral video and the YouTube clips with photos from BKS Iyengar's official website and found that the man is indeed Iyengar.

Apart from this, it should be noted that Narendra Modi was born on 17 September 1950 and the video is from 1938.

Hence, the claim that the man in the video is Mr. Modi is FALSE.
