Fact:The claim is false. The video is generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Hyderabad: A video showing a cow jumping on an orange luxury car, similar to a Lamborghini, and destroying it is going viral on social media with the claim that it took place in India.
Sharing the video, an X user wrote, “In this country, you should be impressed by the population of Mother Cow and Father Bull, not by seeing expensive cars on the road.” (Translated from Hindi) (Archive)

NewsMeter found that the viral claim is false. The viral video is generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
We did not find any news reports or credible social media posts sharing the viral visuals stating that a cow destroyed a luxury car on Indian roads.
We analysed the viral video and found discrepancies. The text on the signboards is gibberish, and as the camera pans back and forth, the background changes completely. These discrepancies are in line with AI-generated content.
Hive Moderation, an AI detection tool, scanned the 10-second viral video and determined that it is 98.1 per cent likely to contain AI-generated or deepfake content.
Using reverse image search of the viral video keyframes, we found the same footage shared through Instagram on October 4 by user ‘aikalakari’. The caption reads, “@imagineartofficial #ImagineArt1.0 Angry cow damages a Lamborghini in India!”
The bio of the Instagram profile contains the words ‘AI Filmmaker’ and ‘Filmmaker. 18 yrs in media. Creating a world of AI Art. DM for paid collabs. Living my dream of bringing surreal sci-fi worlds & creatures to life!’
This account contains many such videos of cows attacking vehicles. A video of a cow attacking an auto was shared with the caption, “India is not for beginners”.
Another video showing a cow attacking an orange luxury car, similar to the one in the viral video, was shared with the text “@imagineartofficial #ImagineArt1.0 A very Angry cow damaged an orange Lamborghini in India! Is that Rohit Sharma’s Lamborghini?”
Both videos of the orange luxury car were shared in collaboration with another Instagram profile, ‘imagineartofficial’. ImagineArt is a suite of AI-powered creative tools that allows users to generate images, videos and other content from simple text descriptions.
Therefore, NewsMeter concludes that the viral claims are false. The viral video of a cow destroying a luxury car is AI-generated.
