A video of an armed man threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi with violence against India is viral on social media. Users claim the Pakistani Taliban has threatened India. The man in the video says that Pakistan’s flag will be hoisted in Delhi.

Hyderabad: A video of an armed man threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi with violence against India is viral on social media. Users claim the Pakistani Taliban has threatened India. The man in the video says that Pakistan's flag will be hoisted in Delhi.

The claim is False.

NewsMeter firstly performed a Keyword Search which directed us to a news report by Aaj Tak in September 2019.

We then found a Facebook page 'Said Kaber' which had posted the viral video on February 25, 2019.

We then compared the image of the man in the viral video and an image from Said Kaber. We found both of them were similar.


It is therefore evident that the viral claim is False. The video dates back to 2019.
