Hyderabad: A news card is widely being shared on social media claiming that Seeman, the chief co-ordinator of the Naam Tamilar Katchi, has said he will dissolve the party.
The text in the viral news card reads: "Ten years of fighting for the people are in vain. People are not going to change. I'm going to change, yes I'm going to dissolve the party."

The claim is False.
NewsMeter began its investigation by performing a keyword search about the claim being made. However, we could not find any such statement given by the leader. In fact, there was no recent news published by the mainstream media about the leader.
Apart from this, we also searched on the social media handles to find out whether he is going to dissolve the party or not. But there was no information or tweet related to the same.

The news card also mentioned 'Thanthi TV'. On searching for the news card, we did not find any such news card on their social media handle. We also found that the news card was edited.
We tried to contact the spokesperson of the party, but he was not available for comments. We will update the report once we receive the reaction.
Hence, it is evident that the claim is False. No such statement of dissolving the party was given by Seeman.
