Hyderabad: Over forty, including nine minors, were found killed in a stampede at actor-politician, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay's rally in Karur of Tamil Nadu on September 27.
In this context, a video of some people dancing in a ‘mobile hospital’ is going viral on social media with claims that it shows Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) members. The text on the vehicle in the viral video reads, “Mobile Hospital”.
The words on the video read, “Wow, yesterday DMK people were dancing. We will not let it go, uncle”. (Translated from Tamil)
This video was coupled with an image of Chief Minister and DMK chief M K Stalin, the word ‘uncle’ in the caption referring to him.

Thaanthi TV also shared the video on September 21. The report reads, “Employees danced on government mobile hospital vehicle that was going from Nellai to Nanguneri.”
The report added that the incident was recorded by the driver of the vehicle following the mobile van and later shared on social media.
The Karur tragedy occurred on September 27, while the viral video predates it and has been online since at least September 21. Hence, NewsMeter concludes that the viral claims are false.
