Fact Check
The claim is False.
NewsMeter began its investigation by performing a keyword search which led us to the verified Twitter account of Vinoj P Selvam, president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. Vinoj on November 8, 2021, tweeted a similar poster with the caption: "Tomorrow @annamalai_k will distribute relief to over 2000 families at # harbor, #chennai. Always in the service of the nation. #ChennaiRains #chennaifloods @blsanthosh".
The team noticed that neither in the caption nor in the poster is mentioned flood relief aid to 2000 "genuine Hindus". Meanwhile, the text in the poster roughly translated from Tamil reads: "On behalf of the BJP Youth, flood relief will be provided to 2000 people on November 11, 2021, 3:30 pm at Port Assembly constituency by K. Annamalai IPS, BJP state president and Vinoj P. Selvam, Youth State President BJP in the service of the people today and forever, BJP Youth, Tamil Nadu."
