Fact Check:
The claim is false.
NewsMeter conducted a keyword search and found a 2013 blog with similar lines. As per the blog, these lines are excerpts from Chetan Bhagat's speech at Symbiosis.
Next, we checked Chetan Bhagat's official website and found a transcript of the author's speech that he had delivered at the orientation program for the new batch of MBA students at Symbiosis, Pune, on 24 July 2008. This speech contains exactly the same lines as that in the post. From this, it is evident that excerpts from Chetan Bhagat's speech at Symbiosis are passed off as Ratan Tata's.
Hence, the claim is false. Excerpts from Chetan Bhagat's speech are being falsely attributed to Ratan Tata.
