Hyderabad: A picture of AAP MP Sanjay Singh, AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj, journalists Ajit Anjum and Ashutosh among others is widely shared on social media.
In the picture, a man's face is encircled. Users identify him as Murtaza, who tried to attack the Gorakhnath temple.

The claim is False.
NewsMeter began its investigation by performing a Google Reverse Image. During the search, we found this image on Twitter from a user on April 5, 2022. Sharing this, the user wrote, 'Vinod Kapri Sakshi Joshi Ajit Anjum Ashutosh with AAP leaders. The picture speaks a lot about which side they report'
A set of images were also shared by Vinod Kapri's wife and journalist Sakshi Joshi on their Instagram handle on April 4. These pictures seem to be from a party. In these pictures, Vinod Kapri and Ajit Anjum are seen in the same clothes. Actor Manoj Bajpayee is also present.
We then searched to know more about Ahmad Murtaza Abbasi. We found many pictures. We compared the pictures of filmmaker Vinod Kapri and Murtaza. The difference between the two can be seen.
Hence, it is evident that the claim is False. The man seen in the viral image is not Ahmad Murtaza Abbasi.
