The claim made is False
NewsMeter firstly performed a Google Reverse Image Search which directed us to a video on the website of MX Player uploaded on January 20, 2015.
The image was a scene from the serial 'Balika Vadhu' Season 1. It was a sequence from the 1793rd episode.
Pertinently, the final rites of Sidharth Shukla were performed on September 03, 2021, while the image claiming was shared on September 02, 2021.
It is therefore evident that the claim is False. Viral image of Sidharth Shukla's final rites is from an episode of 'Balika Vadhu'.
