Hyderabad: Social media users claim that the under-construction bridge collapsed near Ajit Mill Char Rasta in Ahmedabad.
Hitendra, the national convener of the Dalit wing of the Congress, also tweeted the pictures of a collapsed bridge on October 22 with the same claim.
Hitendra and many users targeted the Gujarat model.

The claim is misleading.
First of all, NewsMeter searched for the news of a bridge collapse near Ajit Char Rasta in Ahmedabad. But we could not find any report.
With the help of some relevant keyword search, the team found that an under-construction flyover had collapsed on October 19 in Nagpur city. The Times of India shared the report about the incident on 20 October. A picture of a broken bridge has also been shared in the article. But this is different from the pictures shared on social media.
According to the report, a part of the under-construction bridge collapsed near Bharat Nagar Chowk in Kalmana, Nagpur. There was no one present there. There was no loss of life. According to the article, this flyover was being constructed by the National Highway Authority.
Free Press Journal, Mumbai Tak, Lokmat News18, TOI Nagpur, TOI Pune also shared the news of the collapse of an under-construction bridge in Nagpur. In these reports, some pictures have been shared, which matches the images shared by the users.
We did a keyword search on Twitter. Some users have posted pictures and videos of the area.
Viral pictures shared by users match with the images of the collapsed flyover in Nagpur.
On the left is the viral picture and on the right is the picture by one of the media reports.
Hence, the claim is misleading.
