Fact Check

The claim is False.

NewsMeter with the help of Keyword Search tried to find out whether Muhammad Anas had won any awards in the Tokyo Olympics. However, we did not find any reports related to the Indian Sprinter winning the medal in the Olympics.

We then performed another keyword search and tried to find out whether Muhammad participated in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. We found out that he had participated in the 4×400m relay race and the mixed 4×400m relay. According to this website, Muhammad Anas did not win any medal in either of the two races.

We then did a keyword search on Google and tried to find out the results of the 4×400m relay race and 4×400m relay mixed. We found the results of the 4×400m relay mixed on the official website of the Olympic Games. In this race, India had qualified for the next round but could not get any medal.
