Fact Check: Is CBSE setting question papers for Class 9 and 11?
Social media users are claiming that the question papers for classes 9 and 11 will now be set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Hyderabad: Social media users are claiming that the question papers for classes 9 and 11 will now be set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Users also claimed that there will be a single-question paper in Class IX and XII. They claimed the schools have been informed about the new system. The question paper will be sent by the board. The date for the exam will also be decided by the board. The school will have to take the exam accordingly.
The message has also been shared on Facebook and Twitter.
Fact Check
The claim is False.
NewsMeter firstly noticed a link being attached to the viral message of a website by Live Hindustan which read 'CBSE exam 2022 class 9th and 11th exam question paper will now be prepared by the CBSE board'.
When we opened the link, it said: "CBSE board will not prepare the question paper of 9th 11th examination".
NewsMeter then searched for any such statement on their website. However, we did not find any such information.
Meanwhile, we did find CBSE's official release rebutting the viral claim.
NewsMeter lastly found a tweet by the Press Information Bureau debunking the viral message.
It is therefore evident that the viral claim is False.
