Hyderabad: A video of a man being thrashed by a group of people including a woman is viral on social media.
Users said the man was beaten for raping a minor girl in Bapa Nagar, Karol Bagh. Users identify the man Akram Khan, social media manager of AAP MLA Dinesh Mohania.
"This is the social media coordinator Akram Khan of wicked AAP MLA Dinesh Mohania. He tried to rape a four-year-old girl in Karol Bagh. He was saved! Arvind Kejriwal, father of one daughter, you will punish Akram Khan (sic)," reads the English translation of the post.

The claim is False
Starting with the investigation, NewsMeter performed a Google Reverse Image Search, which led us to a report published by India Today on August 31, 2021.
Headlined, `Delhi: Man lures 4-year-old into factory on pretext of offering toffee, rapes her', the report said the accused identified as Dipesh had raped a minor who used to visit neighboring jeans manufacturing factory.
"The minor girl's family immediately rushed to the police station after she narrated the incident to them. After the incident, the family and neighbors allegedly thrashed Dipesh. A case has been registered under the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act and the accused has been arrested," the report said.
The team had also found reports published by Zee News and NDTV on the heinous crime. Both the reports had mentioned that the accused was identified as Dipesh who worked in a jeans manufacturing factory.
During the investigation, NewsMeter found a tweet by the associate editor of crime & investigation at NDTV Mukesh Singh Sengar on August 31. "Dipesh, a man working in a jeans factory in Delhi's Bapa Nagar area, was accused of raping a 4-year-old girl, people thrashed the accused, the police registered a case and arrested the accused (sic)," reads the translation of the tweet.
It is therefore evident that the claim is false
