Hyderabad: An image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the 2021 Parliament Monsoon session press conference while holding a blue umbrella with Reliance Jio's logo on it has gone viral on social media.

Fact Check
The viral post is a hoax.
NewsMeter performed a Google reverse image search which led us to many reports and websites that had published the original picture.
We found a report by The Hans India titled "Stormy start to Monsoon season" published on 20 July 2021.
Another report by News 18 published on 19 July carried the original picture of the Prime Minister on the first day of the Parliamentary session.
We also found the press release published on the official website of the Press Information Bureau.
We found a video uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Narendra Modi' aired on 19 July. The video was titled "PM Modi's remarks at the start of Monsoon Session of Parliament 2021".
It is evident that the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding an umbrella with the Jio logo is a morphed image.
