FACT CHECK:

The claim that the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport has been renamed as 'Adani Airport' is false.

NewsMeter searched for reports by news organizations and found no report that supported the claim. We checked the AAI website as well and found no change.

It should be noted that the Airport Authority of India (AAI) handed over its operations to the Adani Group on November 6, 2020. However, the name has not been changed. The Adani Airports is a subsidiary of the Adani Group and the banners carry the company logo.

The Adani Airport logo is also present on the banners at Lucknow airport. This indicates that all banners of the Adani Airport have the same logo on the banners.
