Hyderabad: A post claiming that Muslims and Christians are provided reservations in top government institutions in Delhi, is widely being shared on social media.
The post even claims that, because of Sonia Gandhi, the government institutions have fewer Hindu officers.

The claim made in the post that out of 49 posts, 45 are Muslims and Christians, and only 4 are Hindus, is not true. According to the data given on the website, there are some 36 officers and most of them have Hindu names.

The claim made in the post that out of 7 posts, 7 are Muslims and Christians, and none are Hindus, is not true. As per the constitution of India, reservation cannot be granted solely based on religion; it does not discriminate against people based on religion. There is no rule which provides reservation specifically to Muslims and Christians in the central government institutions. The government also does not maintain such a list based solely on religion.
Hence, the claim is false.
