The claim is False.
NewsMeter began its investigation by performing a Google Reverse Image Search of a screengrab from the viral video, which led us to a video uploaded on the Facebook page of Vinod Dua on March 28, 2021.
In the video, Dua said he heard Prime Minister Modi saying that he had a role in the independence of Bangladesh. Since he is in the hospital, therefore he decided not to discuss Pradhan Sewak's statement. Talking about his health he said he has been suffering from a mild fever for the past few days and that's the reason why he was not able to host `The Vinod Dua Show'. Once he gets better, he will host the show again.
The video was also shared on the YouTube channel 'HW News Network' on March 28, 2021. The description of the video read, "Message from Vinod Dua Ji to all the viewers and fans of HW News".
The team then found a tweet by a user on May 17, 2021, with a caption, "Vinod Dua's hatred doesn't reduce even when on an ICU bed."
The team found another video uploaded by OPIndia on May 17, 2021. "Vinod Dua spewed venom against PM Modi even when he was hospitalized," reads its title.
"While many believed that the video is recent when he's currently hospitalized for COVID treatment, it is a video from March 2021 which he had published on his verified Facebook page," reads the report.
It is therefore evident that the claim is False. The viral video of late Vinod Dua was recorded in March 2021.
