An image which looks like a tiff between people and policeman has been shared by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on social media

"A shocking & horrifying picture of what Andhra Pradesh has become. This brazen attack on a policeman guarding MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna's office shows the extent to which the YSRCP goondas have been emboldened. Even a policeman isn't safe in Andhra Pradesh anymore," he said

The same claim has been shared by several other Twitter and Facebook accounts.

The claim that a policeman was attacked by YSRCP leaders is FALSE.

Andhra Pradesh state police have rubbished these claims. Police have taken to Twitter and clarified that the allegations are False. Using the Fact Check tag, they posted a series of tweets clarifying that the leaders were helping the policemen after he fell and got hurt. The leader was massaging the injury of the police officer after the fall.

According to the report published in News 18 Telugu, the AP police department falsified Chandrababu's tweet in the name of fact check hashtag.

"Dear Leader of the Opposition Chandrababu, your post is not correct. Once again, the allegations you have made are wrong. YCP activists there assisted the wounded police and examined the wounded man. We urge you to please co-operate with the police in maintaining peace and security in the state."

Hence, the claim that the policeman was attacked by YSRCP leaders is FALSE.
