Hyderabad: A video of Lata Mangeshkar is widely being shared on social media.
Users claim this is the last video of Lata Mangeshkar. At 1:24-minute, Lata Mangeshkar can be seen saluting her Facebook and Twitter fans. In the video, she can be heard talking about Madan Bhaiya. Finally, through a voice-over, we can hear someone talking about the demise of Lata Mangeshkar.

The claim is False.
NewsMeter began its investigation by performing a keyword search, which led us to a video uploaded on the Facebook page of Lata Mangeshkar.
We found the same video uploaded on her page on January 04, 2017. The original video was 16:50 minutes. We can find the viral shot at 0:05 seconds.
"The video is from a live session that she had done on Facebook on January 04, 2017. In this live session, she had also shared her experiences related to musicians Madan Mohan and RD Burman while answering people's questions," OneIndia reported.
We lastly compared a screengrab from the viral video and the original video.
It is therefore evident that the claim is False.
