FACT CHECK:

The claim is misleading.

In response to one of the claims made by a Twitter user, the verified Twitter account of the Aam Aadmi Party said that this image is old. It says, "FAKE NEWS BUSTED. This is an old photo of waterlogging at the Minto bridge. Currently, there is NO WATER LOGGING at Delhi's Minto Bridge".

The same image was also published by Hindustan Times, India TV and New Indian Express in July 2020. Due to the heavy rain in Delhi, about 8 to 10 feet of water was flooded under the Minto Bridge. A DTC bus, an auto, and a mini tempo were stuck in it. An old man had died due to drowning when he tried to maneuver the vehicle through the waterlogged underpass.

It is clear that the viral image was not taken recently.

Furthermore, ANI news agency has tweeted on the current situation of the Minto bridge. It clearly states that the Minto Road area witnesses a smooth flow of traffic.

Evidently, the claim of this image being recent and showing the current situation of the Minto bridge is misleading.
