FACT CHECK:
The image of the girl's body found in the well is not related to the Bihar incident.
There are 3 images that are viral in these tweets - picture of a girl in the well, picture of a girl in bandages, and a picture of a woman on the road with boards in their hands.
NewsMeter found that the first image is not related to the immolation of girl body.
The image of the body in the well though is from Vaishali, Bihar, but it is not the same incident. This took place in July and according to reports by Vaishali Today and News18, the girl was the daughter of former City Council President Shah Jahan Khatoon and was murdered and thrown into the well. The dead body was taken out of the well with the help of police and locals who reached the spot.
However, the other two pictures indeed are from the recent incident. This incident took place in Rasoolpur village under Desari police station of Vaishali district in Bihar on October 30. The girl was allegedly burnt alive after she resisted sexual harassment by the accused. These pictures were carried by Times Now, Free Press Journal, and Jangar.
Evidently, an unrelated picture is being passed off as a recent Bihar stalking victim.
